So what's everyone watching this season?? Personally I'm probably watching a few too many :)

Mei-chan no Shitsuji - Have seen the first two eps (just finished ^_^) and am officially in love with this show!  What a great role for Hiro, a butler who takes care of their female masters every needs! The person who came up with this script must of been laughing at how many females would tune in to watch this XD 

Uta no Onii-san - Of course I first watched this for Ohno (though I  didn't watch Maou since I try to stay away from depressing storylines especially if I sense a sad ending) but now I genuinely love this show. Despite in the first couple of eps being sick to death of all the damn flashbacks! I'm glad they've limited it to only one or two per ep now :) Can't wait for ep 5 as it seems really interesting but am so upset theres only 8 episodes :(

Q.E.D - I love  mystery shows so I do like this show. Although as has been said the mysteries aren't groundbreaking and they  may seem to be solved a bit too quickly the two main characters certainly make up for it ^_^ Plus I'm still hoping for some romance between them!!  Hopefully ep 7 will be realised soon!

RESCUE - Only seen the first two eps but definately hooked (line and sinker XD) .  I actually don't have much to say on this one except I really enjoyed it. Although I do have one small complaint ............ Not enough Massu!! I mean he's meant to be second lead but he doesn't seem to get the screen time deserving of such a role but maybe I'm just  being greedy! XD

Kiina - Another mystery show so I couldn't resist!! Add in bits of the supernatural to give it an original twist and you know you have a winner :) Admittingly I didn't watch the second ep but the first and third are really interesting. In my opinion the first was the better  but I still have high hopes for ep 4.  I also really like the male asisstent in this can't wait to see how his character develops.

Voice - Watched this for Toma firstly as I didn't realise what it was about really. Of course this two is a mystery type show and it original twist is the use of forensic science to solve the crimes. Loved the first ep, almost gave up on the second cause it seemed painfully slow and thus boring,  hung in there and really enjoyed the third and fourth ^_^ Therefore I will definately watch this and all the ones above till the end!


Not to mention I've started the following dramas but have been unable to finish anyone insist any of these are worth finishing?

Korea Secret Agency, Rookies, SP (Security Police) and Hana Yori Dango 2 (don't kill me, I like it, I do, I just haven't got around to going back and watching it!)

Ummm I don't? Just down or up in a ponytail/hairclip. Though I do have awesome huge fluffy winnie the pooh bear, tigger and eeyore hairties :)

Ummmm.....I'm actually posting something? Does that count?

04. How many colors are you wearing now?
2+ The plus is because although my shirt is mainly one colour it also contains other colours but pretty much brown and light green. Hmmm not at my most colourfullest today.

05. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Hmmm probably somewhere in the middle, could probably be more outgoing but am far from a hermit!

06. What was the last book you read?
Charlie Bone and the Shadow of Badlock. Children's Fantasy lol (I'm 17 so I guess it could be worse)

No, I just tend to sleep in quite late when I can :)


08. If the person you secretly like is already taken, what would you do?
Be happy for them! Well maybe not chances are I would just try to move on but it would definately depend on the circumstances. How much do I like them? The more I like them the more I would do or the longer I would wait. How much do they like the person they are going out with? The more they like them the more likely I would try to move on. How much does the other person like the person I like? The less they like them the more willing I would be to try and take them away. As you can probably see I like to think about things carefully and weigh everything up ^_^

09. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Hmmmm well I was going to say of course but then all the things I came up with actually annoyed me not necessarily made me unhappy is it the same thing? Unhappy, ummm the knowledge every morning that eventually I will have to drag my lazy butt out of my nice comfy bed?

I rather dislike the word favourite as sometimes it's too hard to chose .... this is one of those times.... but I suppose for the sake of the question I will go with Chocolate Bavarian Cheesecake! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

No but I like things to be clean lol

I don't remember probably because now that I listen to a lot of asian music that I can't understand the songs don't really seem to stick inside my head ^_^

Balls of Fury, actually ok if you don't expect much and now I want to play table tennis even more!

17. Would you enter a relationship with your ideal partner, even if you knew he/she was seriously involved with/married to someone else and would never leave them?
No as I'm sure most people would agree that's unhealthy and would cause way more pain and damage than simply walking away.

18. What is your least favorite thing to do that you have to do everyday?
Get up, theres not much else I do everyday that I dislike and of course once I'm up it's all good it's just the getting up!

Ok so this post as promised is going to be a list, a list of some of the dramas I have seen and what I think of them!

1st Shop of Coffee Prince - Damn just thinking of this Korean drama makes me happy and tingly inside. It's just so sweet and funny. If you've never heard of it then your life is currently meaningless, pointless, worthless etc you get my point? It's is the single best drama I have ever watched (twice now actually) and you should definitely go see it. If you want to know what it's about google it, same for where to watch it. *Rating 10/10*

Trick - A rather unusual funny Japanese drama. I quite liked it though at times it pissed me off. It's about this female magician (played by main actress in Gokusen) and male physicist who go about showing the tricks supposed real 'spiritualists' use. In the first episode or so its tells us how both characters have a strong disbelief in spiritualists. What is annoying is when in later episodes these same characters seem ready to believe these spiritualists when rational people with no experience can pick holes or see loopholes in their supposed spiritual powers. Apart from that it's good to help pass a boring afternoon, and better if you like mystery type shows (I do). There's also a trick 2 and 3. *Rating 6/10*

Kindaichi Shounen No Jikenbo 3 - Stars Matsumoto Jun (Of Gokusen, Hani Yori Dango, Kimi wa Petto, Bambino etc drama fame and the band Arashi) which I'm sure will be enough for many of you. He's quite young in this as it is a 2001 drama but he's simply cuter. Great mystery series loved every episode. Only one thing I didn't like! There are 9 episodes and a special, watched all nine episodes, loved the mysteries, really enjoyed watching the relationship develop between Jun's character and his female childhood friend so had great expectations for the special. Unfortunately after much confusion 10 minutes into the special I finally figured out even though all the actors where the same and there characters were similar to the episodes the relationships between the characters were completely different and unfortunately non-existent! So I suggest just watching the 9 episodes unless you'll die from prolonged Jun watching withdrawal. *Rating 9/10* (Discounts the SP)

Hi, to anyone who happens to stumble across this, this is my first post and thus will be an introduction! Hence the rather appropriate title. So here goes, my name is Melissa, I live in Australia, am 17 and currently obsessed with Japan ....... mostly. To be more specific anime, manga, dramas and jpop. Of course I also like korean and taiwanese dramas as well as their music. My favourite jpop bands are Arashi, News and recently Kanjani8! I am extremely lazy, like to think I'm funny and really only feel comfortable writing this because I'm sure no one will bother to read it. So what can you expect from my journal?? Hmmmmm, well to be honest not much. The odd strange rant perhaps, maybe the odd link to awesome sites? Speaking of awesome sites is anyone else rather upset about evil empire being down? (It happens to be the best site out there for manga downloads). I feel a rather strong undeserved hatred towards the smiling blond lady who pops up instead!

I can't think of much else to say except you (whoever you may be, most probably you'll be no-one) can probably expect me to post some lists in relation to my current obsessions (above) in the near future and if I have anything particularly interesting or insightful to share I suppose this is know where it will go!
